Can I offer my huge thanks in advance to the following people:<br />John Lazenby of DISCO 79 is providing the disco and commentary for the whole day - from 10am until 10.30pm. <br />Colin Pearce for providing the PA system<br />The Pentacle Drummers and Tribal Belly Dancers for providing entertainment in our arena<br />Russell Dennis - Taekwondo expert - for offering a display of this skill<br />Reigate School of Ballet - for taking the time out to entertain<br />Air Training Corps - for the marching band<br /><br />................ the list is endless............ keep watching this Blogg for more information.<br /><br />THE FESTIVAL IS GOING TO BE BIG!!!!!!............. REALLY BIG!!!<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/2273141110434302379-480783894741763308?l=mersthamcommunityfestival.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>Merstham Community Festivalhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10312913123138861823noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2273141110434302379.post-52305776229597058392010-04-02T05:57:00.001-07:002010-04-02T06:02:57.764-07:00Merstham Community Festival Fun Day is looking to be the BIGGEST event that Merstham has seen in many, many years.<br />The day will run from 10am until 10.30pm.<br />From 10am - 5pm there will be a mass of stalls - Over 70 !<br />To list a few: tombola, coconut shy, spinning jenny, arts and crafts, jewellery, food - the list is endless<br />Inside the arena there will be entertainment all day.... ranging from Chinese Circus, to taekwondo, from Tug of war, to tribal drummers and belly dancers. <br />The Surrey Yeomanry will be on site to entertain, together with performances from Britney Spears lookalike, Madonna lookalike, and the Air Cadet marching band.<br />From 5pm until 10.30pm there will be live entertainment from "Canned Meat", "The Leftovers", Elvis Orbison..... the list is incredibly exciting. NOT A DAY TO BE MISSED.<br />Keep watching for more updates.
